[小天狗 黄泉] [Last First]Nickname: Red Crow
[赤のカラス] [Aka no Karasu]Clan: Kotengu
Birth Day: August 13th
Current Location: Kita
[Passing through]Age: 21
[Twenty-One]Weight: 57 kg | 125 lbs
Height: 170 cm | 5.5 ft
General Appearance: Yomi has been mistaken for a woman so many times, he has actually come to accept and use it to his advantage. It's not something he likes about himself, but he can't really help it. He's a relatively short male, with a set of feminine characteristics. His face is round, with large green eyes, a set of equally long lashes, and a pair of light eyebrows. A green tribal tattoo starts from the bottom of his left eyebrow and ends just under his left eye. It was painful to get it, but it happened over a period in which he wanted to ruin his so-called "pretty" face, and he still hasn't regretted it to this day.
He keeps his deep burgundy hair long, though asymmetrically cut in places. It's not uncommon for him to lose strands of hair during fights, but instead of just cutting it short and getting it over with, he instead keeps it as it is. It might look messy when he lets it down, but he makes sure to keep it tidy, with the longer parts in a low, side ponytail, a silver ornament to keep it in place, while the rest of the strands fall at the sides and front of his face.
Although he doesn't lack muscles, his general build is pretty small. Not that it's an advantage, since it makes it easier for him to be more agile. Being from the Kotengu clan, Yomi doesn't hesitate to show that he's rich. When he's not on duty of any sort, he wears quite the flashy outfits. Accessories are present all the time as well. As for a main battle outfit, he wears a long, white jacket over a black kimono-styled shirt, leaving his lower waist open. For the bottom part, he wears a pair of semi-long black pants with a white trim, and laced ninja sandals with fur lining. He also wears a pair of metal shoulder guards, and a pair of gloves. The gloves actually rarely come off, even when he's out of battle.

Face Claim:
BRAVE 10 - kamanosuke yuriSpeech Patterns: He was raised to be polite, but that only happens when he's around his clan.
Habits: Yomi unconsciously licks his lips when under pressure.
Illnesses: N/A
Ethical Axis: Chaotic
Moral Axis: Neutral
General Personality: Yomi is an obvious mess, but not the kind that threatens others, Nor the kind that would render him depressed. He's the kind of mess that will cause trouble, sloppily fix it, and then do it again for the fun of it. As a child, there were certain boundaries he was not allowed to pass, so that he's no longer a child, he doesn't hesitate to push the limits. He enjoys extremes, and loves messing with people to the point where they might hit him for it. All of this of course is done through words. He's not enough of a fool to provoke anyone with more than words.
Despite his pushy personality, he's not a bad guy. He's friendly in most cases, and actually expects people not to take him seriously. Loyalty, he believes, is earned, and thus will not trust anyone, no matter how many drinks they've had together before, unless something more serious happens to the relationship. He's not one to hold grudges, and will not go too far in fights and such. He knows what he can do and what he can't, and makes sure to survive, even if it means surrendering.
General Opinion: Every person looks interesting in Yomi's eyes. Background and current status don't really matter to him. As long as he can mess with them without ending up dead, it's all good.

Story: Yomi was born to a bloodline of smiths. They weren't top-notch, but they ranked third in the Kotengu's overall ratings. One thing they held pride in was the fact that they had been smiths from the beginning, not even one generation shifting to other occupations like most of the other Kotengu families. At least not until Yomi.
The red-head was born a quiet child. He didn't talk back; he didn't talk at all, actually. The only thing he ever said was "No", "Yes", "Understood". He knew how to speak, of course, he'd read way too many books not to know how to speak. He just chose not to say a word. He ignored offers to play with the other children, and he pretended to be shy around adults. He kept his mouth shut, and observed from afar.
He was a curious child, though he didn't show it. Keeping everyone at arm's length seemed to him to be a good way to watch without having to put effort into interacting with them. His parents didn't mind his secluded behavior. They actually encouraged it, since on top of being quiet, he was also obedient. Starting from a young age, he was taught everything he needed to know about weaponry and how to forge it. He accepted all the knowledge he could get, and before long, he could make a sword in a matter of hours. He didn't particularly like making weapons and armor, but he never complained about it. Again, he kept quiet, head down, and secretly taking peeks at the world around him.
Around the age of 15, Yomi convinced his parents to get him a swordsman teacher. They opposed it at first, having an unspoken fear that their child might break the blacksmith line their ancestors had kept intact, but he used the excuse of "Learning how to use weapons will benefit the making of them". They reluctantly let him study the art of swordsmanship for 5 years, in which time Yomi put himself through the last period of seclusion in his life. It was about time he broke out of the shell he'd built.
After finishing his training, and finally being able to skillfully wield what he made, the now young man shook his family with a change of attitude. The quiet boy became an obnoxious adult who spoke his mind whenever he pleased, and pushed to get the mos extreme of reactions, wholeheartedly laughing at the people around around him. His parents were almost disgusted by his new self, but Yomi didn't mind at all. He took their harsh criticism as a sign to leave the place he'd been living in for the past 20 years, and seek out new things. He'd planned this escape his whole life, and he left the settlement with a grin on his face, heading towards wherever his feet took him, and taking up whatever job brought in money.
