1 - CLONE TECHNIQUE;

In truth, the clone technique is classified as an E-Rank technique - though the site does not currently acknowledge such a ranking. In reason of this, I will ask that you allot 27 points instead of the 50 for "D-Rank" jutsu; artificially creating such a ranking befitting that of an elementary technique. Otherwise there are but a few issues I have spotted with the application as is. The first lies within the range of the technique - 30 meters is extraordinarily far for most techniques, and this particular technique does not warrant such range. It is all but illusory and thus should not merit any decent range - it should be considered an extremely weak version of Shadow/Elemental Clones. My personal suggestion would be 12 meters. Now, moving unto speed. The speed stat dictates that freshly-created characters move at 4 m/s, Novice at 8 m/s, and Adept at 12 m/s. As it stands, these clones would move much quicker than anyone until they spend 2 points in speed - nor would they be bound to any physical obstruction.

Though that is not to say that these clones should move any slower or faster than your character - hence I find it appropriate that you detail that their speed follow the characters' speed rather than outright forcing a value for them. Instead, if you feel so inclined, you could describe that their mobility would be higher than the users (as such clones would not be obstructed by the physical plane).

Now, unto an important stat which you seem to have completely neglected: potency. Potency refers to a technique's finesses, power, durability, etc. As you seem to have allotted 50 points across range and speed but not potency - the technique would not work as intended. For example, generated clones would not look anything like the user (let alone like Naruto's initial failed clones), and it'd be doubtful that they would be of any use whatsoever - such as no moving, no animation, etc. Hence I request that you take that into consideration.  

2 - TRANSFORMATION TECHNIQUE;

Yet again, I will have you use the number 27 for point allocations rather than 50 - as this is yet again another E-Rank technique. As this does not require range nor velocity, it is fine to input a value of 0 to those domains - however potency is still much a thing to take into consideration. I appreciate that you mentioned the damage threshold before the transformation is dispelled - though as the site does not use a HP system; it becomes somewhat problematic to imagine how much "50 potency" does to a person. It is under my belief that 50 is too much, and it'll be more appropriate to rehash it into about 10. Most forms of injuries appear to be able to dispel the transformation effect barring small scratches or extremely minor blunt trauma. If you have any evidence to show that significant damage may be taken and still keep the transformation - please point that out to me.

The transformation technique requires constant chakra emission, and thus I would like you to attach a value dedicated to the chakra drain per post whilst active - this should be quite minimalistic due to the nature of the technique; 2 should do. Whilst the transformation technique does allow anyone to transform into nearly anything - there are still some restrictions worth mentioning. Such as for example: a size limit - a 5'2" person should not be able to suddenly grow to 6'0"; otherwise, you would trivialize the Akimichi's Hiden.    

3 - BODY FLICKER;

Strangely enough, you have not allocated every single point for this technique - is this intentional? Or had you merely neglected to mention this as the remainder should logically go to potency? If so, please add in the appropriate field. I would also like you to implement a cooldown factor of some description - as to prevent players from spamming the technique until they flat-out run out of chakra; would make chasing after Nukenin or such characters a tad-bit annoying. Edit: Please include an extra-tidbit in the description to ensure that people understand that you may only go in one-direction whilst using this - and not being able to turn or seemingly phase through things.

1 - CHAKRA ENHANCING MUSIC;

Typically, the method of which I rank techniques lies within the realm of possibility (through either complexity or power/chakra) rather than outright combative power - and thus I imagine that this would be more akin to that of a C-Rank rather than B-Rank. I see it no different than playing an instrument normally, albeit perhaps chakra conductive to some extent as to allow chakra waves to reach others and thus bolster their combative prowess. This, whilst you classified it as an Iryō technique, seems more appropriate as a Ninjutsu technique - as it does not require any medical knowledge (to either heal or harm) and thus does not differ enough from other similar techniques (such as Lightning Release Armor, which increases the user's reflexes).

The first issue, albeit small, is that it would be 'wind instruments' rather than winded - and I would like you to further clarify as to what counts as an appropriate instrument. This does not imply to list every instrument which is capable of performing the technique; but rather that someone could not merely pick up a blade of grass and thus whistle with it - lest you word the description differently. I would like it to be noted that should the user be interrupted whilst playing their chosen instrument, that the effects do not carry through - otherwise issues may arise where people would argue that they played long enough before being hit and thus the effect is achieved.

Next, would be the range - as it is a sound-based technique the effective range would be virtually limitless provided that someone had the ability to hear at extremely far distances. Though as a gameplay mechanic there should be a given limiting factor as to prevent users from sitting far from the frontlines - and thus it should be rather described that the chakra-based soundwaves only affect a given range. This would prevent users from boosting the distance through different means, such as an echo within a cavern for example. Whilst I have no personal qualms with being able to affect specific people (of which I assume would be allies), it makes no sense with the currently given description. An opponent whom stands right beside an affected person, should logically, be affected just the same. Hence I would ask you to either remove that, or elaborate a method of affecting allies rather than everyone; such as the chakra-based soundwave moving in a cone/wave shape. It should be also noted that those whom are deaf, whether partially or not, do not gain any bonus (or in the case of partially, a lessened amount).

I would prefer if you did not use a percentage based increase - as from my experience - that could potentially become problematic. If there were no difference between the chakra amount of characters, it would not cause much issue if a proper value in set-in - though with differing levels of chakra amount... some would gain rather large bonuses compared to others as effects could potentially stack over one another. Hence I believe that it would be best to give a flat increase to chakra rather - as to better regulate the amount. Considering that it may potentially last for multiple posts - this would require an initial cost (base), and then a cost per post; seeing as the user would be emitting chakra constantly - lest you wish to design the technique to require the base cost per post.

Now, seeing as I wish for you to change from a percentage to a flat number added to chakra - this will unfortunately not affect the user themselves as otherwise you could (depending on the amount restored) endlessly recover chakra, or endlessly recover the chakra of others.

I believe that this is everything for this technique - though I may ask for further changes depending whether I overlooked something or not.

2 - FLOWER NINJA ART;

As I am not all that knowledgeable of every single canon technique, I might make a few mistakes and thus ask for your assistance in clearing any misunderstandings from my part. Now then, from the brief wiki page dedicated to this; am I to understand that this is a clan technique? Whilst I will be reviewing the techniques regardless of the fact, it should be noted somewhere that these are Hiden and thus not able to be learned by non-clan members.

The main fighting style is listed as a combination of both ninjutsu and genjutsu - though I fail to see how genjutsu is implemented through both the fighting style and the current listing of techniques. Does that imply that the flowers are illusory, or that there are no actual explosions? I imagine that this is not intended and thus will ask you to remove the genjutsu classification - or give a proper detailed explanation of it. Looking through the techniques - this fighting style would be better described as Ninjutsu/Shurikenjutsu (a subset of Bukijutsu) more-so than anything else. Instead of having the ranking of the fighting style determine the amount of flowers capable of being manipulated - it would be wiser to have the ranking reflect which techniques may be used. Such as requiring Rank-D to use associated Rank-D techniques, and Rank-C for C. This would remove damage inconsistencies within the other techniques - such as Many Blooming Flowers which set its damage output at 65 though would logically do less damage with 5 flowers vs 25 - and as it stands, limits the potential of the Hiden in terms of the flat amount of flowers; which would limit creativity with techniques to a certain extent. It is assumed that all points go into potency - as the style merely unlocks access to the explosive-based flower jutsu.

I would like if you were to better detail the extent of manipulating flowers - for example, "turning them into exploding shuriken like moves", would that mean that they can both cause an explosion and be used as a makeshift shuriken? How would it compare to an actual shuriken in terms of sharpness? Are they as durable? More? What is the extent of what they may manipulate; are they able to create techniques from the pollen for example? What is the maximum distance before the are unable to detonate the flowers? Would they return to ordinary flowers if someone cut off their chakra supply? Would they be able to manipulate flowers generated from Senju related techniques or from a clan that has a Floral release? Please describe the fighting style bearing in mind that it should answer a multitude of questions such as these.

3 - MANY BLOOMING FLOWERS + OTHERS;

Assuming that the flowers do not track the target - does that mean that they do not explode on contact; only upon reaching their target? "This technique requires the opponent to first be surrounded with flowers"; this has already been mentioned and thus I would like you to either remove it, or replace the first sentence with it. Whilst the technique would require an effective range, seeing as you are throwing these flowers (lest you are supposedly using telekinetic powers); it would be based off of your strength stat and thus need an appropriate chart of sorts - which would include the speed. Thus leaving you with merely potency. Though you should keep in mind that there are subsets to potency. This would include but not limited to; the power of the technique (damage), it's defensive ability (durability), technique (accuracy amongst other things). Thus it would be wise to allocate amongst all three, and any other potential categories of potency. For example, putting all your points into power would make it a highly destructive technique; but then there's no defensive power behind it.

Which would effectively mean that anyone could strike these flower shuriken down - rendering them asunder with extreme ease. As in a basic punch will do the trick provided that they strike before the explosion occurs. With no points put into technique, as you are throwing these, this move will be highly inaccurate and thus will miss the vast majority of the time. Or if met alongside another similar technique with points put into it's finesse rating; it would mean that they would effectively disable your technique (somehow someway) when clashing directly with your technique - and carry on toward its intended target: ie you. I imagine you would want to include a blast radius of some description as well? Which would eat-up points; lest you do not wish them to explode whatsoever.

All of this should be taken into consideration with the rest of your techniques - and thus I ask that you revise all of them.

Oh my, that is a lot to read.

Chakra Music - Hmm, well for starters, we do use percentage points for regeration, I feel that makes the most sense in this case. Second, the reason I labeled medical, is that it affects the tenkentsu points/system, something someone with some knowledge should have. I agree on the wind instrument part, and will note that. Second, I think limiting a range is enough leeway to give some measure of control, the same way genjutsu dont effect every single person. I'd like to request we keep it medical then and keep the the aspect of picking who is effected. Now, if you want me to shrink the rank, and thus the stats allowed, the range too will shrink, giving even more credence to such things.

Flower Art - there is a genjutsu move, canonically, listed in the genjutsu section here. Makes sense to add that in. As for Hidan, I always hate the idea that we restrict these things to clans, no one is making this clan, and no one ever will... So why go that route, sure maybe Ink jutsu like Sai does, or Narw clan stuff, but this... Doesnt really fit in my book. I classify then more like fighting styles, then pure hidan techniques. (Not to sound rash, but shadow clone and multi shadow clone are classified as hidan moves as well).

I'd recoomend secondly that you look again, these technqiues are a bit telekenetic, and also require present conditions. I.E Sai cant draw if he has now ink or paper etc etc. I also think a bit of your style doesnt logically fit, for a fireball you dont deviate stats into how hot it is, but you are asking for a bit of that here. I think saying as strong as a standard shuriken is more than appropiate, without having to break up points into such things.

That said, I love the oddball moves that... Arent so widly known, sorry for the extra legwork Smile

1 - CHAKRA MUSIC;

Whilst I understand that chakra does naturally regenerate with the current mechanics; I do not wish to allow most techniques this function. This is largely in reason of an attempt of preventing people stacking such a derived statistic with other bonuses (whether custom or not). For example, let us assume that the vast majority of people plan on mastering the Chakra stat. That is 250 chakra, with 10% regen. With the additional implementation of techniques such as this (which users may possess multiple, or otherwise help each other stack up more regen), this reaches 15% or more. Then there are power-up modes, which would consist of things such as: cursed seals, tailed cloak mode, sage mode, and such. Most of these modes would also further boost total chakra capacity and regeneration - easily being able to reach something quite higher than the base amount.

So you may potentially see something like... 350 chakra @ 35% regen (for whatever specified amount of time). Which would equal to 122.5 chakra per post. Allowing people to continue to gain a bit of chakra, even if throwing 2 limit-classified techniques per post. Will such a thing ever happen? Who knows; but I do not doubt that someone will eventually try this. Hence this is why I ask that you do not base the technique on creating an increase to chakra regeneration. I am quite iffy about allowing techniques to replenish chakra - though what I would not mind as much, is a temporary boost to maximum chakra reserves; increasing the total of an affected person by a flat value, not a percentage. As higher chakra reserves would create higher and higher boosts.

Just because a technique uses tenketsu points for whatever purpose, does not immediately equate it to an Iryō technique. The Hyuuga's fighting style (Gentle Fist) for example, relies exclusively on manipulating these points (forcefully closing them; also able to open them if they so desire) whilst they poke and prod their opponents with their strikes; not Iryō. The Raikages' Lightning Release Armor infuses their entire nervous system with Raiton-based chakra to accelerate electrical signals within their bodies; not Iryō. This is my reasoning. If you enhance someone's core abilities with the use of music (your case), or genjutsu to immunize them from fear effects (an example); despite them targeting organs (whether with chakra or not), they do not require an actual ounce of medical knowledge. A jutsu which would be classified as such, would be a strike aimed directly to a pressure point that causes a predetermined effect (such as blindness). The effect would make it an Iryō technique, but the strike by itself would not be; but may arguably require minor medical knowledge (of human anatomy anyway). Hence, as it stands, you have not convinced me that this would be better classified as Iryō. Also, as a side note, if this were an Iryō technique - please be sure to register future registrations in their corresponding threads; as this is non-elemental ninjutsu and not medical ninjutsu.

Range is an important factor for nearly any given technique - as such information dictates whether a technique is feasible or not in terms of managing to hit a target at a distance. As you've mentioned Genjutsu, that would only apply to sound-based genjutsu. The rest have pre-determined ranges which would not require inputting an actual range. All genjutsu require a cue of some description, which is hitting one of the target's senses: touch, taste, sight, smell, and hearing. Touch and taste would effectively have a range of 0 as these would be classified as melee actions. Sight would be any reasonable distance (fairly close, 5-8 meters) to properly view the user and opponent's eyes in full detail. Smell would be trickier, but it'd follow a similar system to sound-based techniques - as in chakra-infused smells can only go so far.

As I've said, I wish to input a strict range. As in, it cannot be boosted through ordinarily means - such as my example with an echo. Or if the site's timeline was significantly advanced enough, transited via radio. This is purely to control the confines of the technique, otherwise things may get out of hand with someone relying on sound-based techniques - cannot give special treatment to one member after all. As I've previously mentioned, I do not mind retaining the ability to affect intended targets. However, what I do want is for this feature to make sense. Sound does not discriminate between friend or foe - it merely travels as intended. An example was to limit the chakra-infused sound to a shape (a cone or wave) and have it travel to its maximal distance; which would help isolate allies from enemies to a certain extent. I imagine this is not ideal, but creativity always finds a way.

2 - FLOWER ART;

A fighting style implies that techniques derived from that style, follow a principal or philosophy - which means that the vast majority will implement these. By classifying it as both, you are announcing that most techniques would use both. Hence it makes no sense to classify it as such, when the vast majority use ninjutsu and not genjutsu - as you claimed, only 1 out of all the canon techniques actually use genjutsu. Hence, this in my opinion, is not enough to justify such a classification. It makes much more sense to classify it as both Ninjutsu (for infusing flowers with chakra), and Shurikenjutsu/Bukijutsu (for these techniques relying moreso on throwing 'em... or such was my original assumption anyway).

Whilst I do agree that I expect very few people to actually create characters which belong to this clan - I will not renounce my earlier judgement to create this as a Hiden - as that is what it is canonically. If you truly wish for lesser clan's techniques to be released for fair use amongst the member-base, please PM one of the admins - as they are in charge with mechanics rather than me. Though until they say otherwise, this will be restricted solely to a clan. If I allow this to pass, people will then proceed to target other lesser clans. For example, the Akimichi; I have only encountered 2 people throughout these 9 years of roleplaying whom made none-joke characters with this clan. I rather not flat-out erase any clan from existence, no matter how unpopular, unless the site itself allows it. This could easily escalate to, "Oh you allowed this, so please allow this", "You allowed this after allowing that, and that, and that". Basically a giant headache, and will eventually blur the lines between reasonable, and not so reasonable.

Shadow Clones - whilst they would technically be a Hiden; are not classified as such due to their nature. The Shadow Clone technique has been deemed dangerous by whatever international agreement and thus banned; turning it into a Kinjutsu: a forbidden technique. Which explains why it isn't a common technique, as it's mostly kept in secret by the vast majority of people; for... ethical reasons from what it seems.

As I've mentioned, I am not familiar with canon techniques as they aren't typically customized in the vast majority of forums - hence I'm used to dealing with original content. If it is truly telekinetic rather than thrown, then fair enough, please input a proper range and speed. I do not know why you mentioned that it requires preparatory work, as that is what I understood from the get-go.

Whilst I understand what you mean via using that anecdote; I do not plan on needlessly pestering members from including such details. Katon will retain the same amount of heat, merely only rising in temperature through increasing ranks or flat-out modified via a kekkei genkai; though I will still ensure that things are properly documented. I do not mind you divulging points in the fighting style to merely add in some defensive properties to the flowers, nor any offensive based ones to indicate a certain level of sharpness whilst placing points into the potency. As this would be enough then to describe all future techniques that these flowers have some measure of durability or cutting potential.

However, I will be judging all techniques in this manner - and I will make sure that people understand the implications of neglecting setting points across different realms rather than all power and no defensive or potency. As these are to be made into canon techniques, I cannot simply abide by your will since you will not be personally using it; hence I ask that you properly allocate and take into consideration various points of jutsu stats. If you feel that I am being overbearing, problematic, or otherwise not understanding the core system - feel free to voice your concerns to my supervisors: the admins.

I think an increase by percentage is fine so long as it follows the rules. You currently need 100 points to boost a stat, so it would only be up by 2% at most. But since it's not increasing chakra as well, a 5% increase would be fine to me. I recently reworked boosts in jutsu creation to include the fact that techniques do not stack

This technique doesn't do damage, but rather paralyzes and removes the sense of smell. The cloud is expelled at 10 m/s and explodes in a radius of 40 meter cone in from of the user. Anyone caught in the cone is paralyzed dependent on their endurance, anyone with an adept or higher isn't paralyzed by the smell, anyone novice and lower is paralyzed for 1 turn. Anyone caught in the smell has their sense of smell removed for the remainder of the topic.

Description: After taking a sample of the target's hair with the use of a puppet, the user forms a specific hand seal, and takes control of the target. The trick is obtaining the hair from the person first, once done it allows the puppeteer to control them, so long as they are within 50 meters. This technique has a strength of 100, and someone with an elite in strength or master in endurance can break out of the technique through shear body strength/durability.

1 - TECHNIQUES;

I would ordinarily review each and every technique - though I will exempt myself from having to do this. As I have warned you the other day multiple times - you should take a look at any of my previous reviews and re-apply the principals into these techniques. It is not enough to merely copy+paste the description of a technique, and input values (of which you did not even put speed in meters/second, nor put range into meters on any of these techniques); but also potency. Potency has many subcategories within it - one which is power; as you seem to understand. Though there are other factors - such as the durability of a technique, points to be spent on the finesse of the technique (such as 3 points for a single elemental technique), a point for each hand sign, or other possible gimmicks. Then depending whether it's a somewhat complex technique (as in, more than just breathing fire out of your mouth; like designing it to look like a dragon); that'll require some more points. As it stands, none of these will be reviewed until you've properly looked them over with keeping those points in mind - as you seemingly put no effort into this.

Sensing hexagram seal - whilst classified as a ninjutsu within canon - should be fuuinjutsu; albeit that will be up to administration rather than me - since it depends how "pure" they would like canon techniques to be. Hence it may potentially be changed - provided I have permission to demand that.

Now - let's move on. Smell Sphere has no spacing between the field and the input - please fix that. Whilst not going too deeply into specifications - please be sure to note range, speed, and potency within any single technique. You have described some of these techniques bearing none of these, or some combination of the three. For example, the sensing hexagram seal, should have a value denoting how fast a pulse travels from the seal itself to its maximum range - finer details would also be nice; the same technique for example, would it not require expending some chakra to generate a pulse of chakra? How does it determine between an ordinary shinobi and a medical one? Is there a point to that even? Would the twenty meters be a diameter or a radius?

Another example would be the Rainwater Gate - requiring details such as the size of the gate itself (as this is regarded as a defensive technique, and thus would be useful to know whether an attack passes overhead has a chance to hit the user or not). Which would include base, length, and height. Does that imply that there is no defensive capability whatsoever behind the gate - since it's described that a mere explosive tag can utterly ruin the gate? Does the gate kinda poof into existence, or does it rise up from whatever netherwordly power? As mentioned before, Potency is comprised of more than raw power. You should take note of things such as the durability (which you have), amount deducted via hand signs (which is 4), the design of the technique itself + its mechanics (improved durability within rain, would add up 10 points; meant to otherwise punish a cheap-means of raising the potential of any given technique via indirect ways by weakening the "normal" version. This would also include details such as the appearance of the technique (should it be more than a mere wall of rock, or have intricate designs + not flat-out collapsing in itself due to poor structure integrity).

So the real issue would be to just place more effort into detailing the techniques - whilst bearing in mind to allocate points in Potency differently than merely placing 'em all into whatever preferred stat (Usually power for offensive techniques, and durability for defensive techniques). This is in an attempt of creating a diverse stat-line amongst all the different techniques of x rank. It'd be somewhat boring if they were all max power or durability - and simply re-skinned to whatever the user finds "cool" or whatever. Once you take these points into consideration - I will be more than happy to review these in more depth alongside with you.

While this is a strong fighting style, it is capped at A rank. Flowers that move outside the range turn back into normal flowers. The user must infuse the flowers with chakra before utilizing the various techniques listed below. The flowers created are roughly 6 inches in diameter, and are as strong as a light D rank weapon, their as sharp/strong as a standard shuriken. The user is able to telekineticlly control these flowers through the use of techniques. They must be created prior to utilizing techniques.

These flowers are effectively stronger than their normal counterparts.
